Across Central America you'll find a variety of approaches to this spicy beer cocktail. The beer and juice keeps the drink light and refreshing. It's traditionally served in a mug.
INGREDIENTS
Juice of one key lime
4 oz (1/2 cup) of Clamato Tomato Cocktail, Tomato Juice or V-8
dash of Worcestershire Sauce
dash Habanero Pepper Sauce
12 oz light Mexican beer such as Modelo or Corona
Garnish: Tajin or chili powder with salt
PREPARATION
Place enough Tajin seasoning or salt with chili powder on flat, small plate to cover the bottom. Rub the rim of your chilled mug with the lime to moisten and dip into the Tajin to generously coat evenly. Combine key lime juice, Clamato, Worcestershire sauce and habanero pepper sauce and fill with beer. Garnish with lime wheel.
