Every Sunday from 1 to 4 pm Mariachi Estrellas de Boston visits El Porto Mexican Bar and Grill at 170 Everett Avenue in Chelsea. The dramatic guitar, the energetic trumpet, the echoing voices - it's a fiesta every week. You might even get lucky when El Porto's manager William shows off his talents by joining with the band.
In Chelsea's downtown, the mariachi's perform on Sunday evenings at Mi Salvador Mexicano at 222 Broadway Wednesday nights you'll sometimes catch a performance too.
Both restaurants are family-friendly with a big menu of delicious Mexican dishes and a full bar.
