Rodeo Bar And Grill

Husband and wife team Delmy Galdamez and Daniel Magana from the flavors of their native El Salvador to Rodeo Bar and Grille. Their traditional Salvadoran cooking, especially for seafood, draws a consistent neighborhood clientele. Enjoy here Mujara, served the way Salvadorans like it. The tilapia fish, served whole, is lightly pan-fried without a coating. The result is gluten-free, juicy, and healthier than typical fried fish.

All their sopas, that is soups, are made from scratch. Their seafood soup, mariscos, is a combination of lobster, crab, shrimp, and mussels in a rich coconut broth. Their whole fish soup is served with or without a fried egg on top. The traditional gallina is available with the roasted bone-in chicken served resting in the rich broth or on the side. All are served with rice and tortillas.

Try here too the Salvadoran classic pupusas. The savory patties from Rodeo are Delmy’s family corn flour recipe.

The Rodeo Bar and Grille serves breakfast through dinner and has a full bar. Be sure to try the Mechalada — a spicy Latin American and South American cocktail made with cold beer with Clamato juice, lime, spicy Mexican sauce, and Worcestershire a mug with a chili rim.
